NDGrid App Privacy Policy

> OUR PRIVACY PROMISE: NDGrid is built on a simple rule: your schedule, notes, and medical logs belong entirely to you. We use end-to-end device encryption so your private planner data is locked before it ever leaves your phone, tablet, or computer.

This document acts as an application-specific addendum to the Taylored Digital Labs Global Privacy Policy. It explains in plain English how your personal information and planner items are protected within the NDGrid application.

1. Absolute Zero-Knowledge Privacy

NDGrid is designed so that your private information remains strictly yours. Everything you put into your planner—from daily routines to medication logs and private journal notes—is securely scrambled and locked using end-to-end encryption. Nobody at Taylored Digital Labs, our software engineers, nor our cloud storage partners (like Google) can read, view, or unlock your schedule.

2. Local-First Storage (Free Tier)

We believe you shouldn't have to hand over personal details just to organize your day. When you download and use NDGrid on our Free Tier, you do not need to create an account, register an email address, or connect to the internet. All your planner entries are encrypted and saved directly onto your physical device's local memory.

3. Secure Cloud Syncing (Premium Accounts)

If you choose to upgrade to a Premium Account to sync your planner across multiple devices, we use secure cloud storage to keep everything up to date:

Before your schedule leaves your device to sync, it is sealed inside a secure digital vault.
This vault can only be unlocked by your personal Vault Password.
Because your Vault Password is never shared with us or sent to our servers, it is mathematically impossible for anyone at Taylored Digital Labs to peek inside your synced planner.

4. Your Passwords & Account Recovery

Because we do not store your Vault Password, we cannot reset it for you if it is forgotten. To protect you from losing access to your planner, NDGrid provides a secure safeguard:

Your Personal Recovery Key: When you set up your account, the app generates a unique, 12-word recovery phrase directly on your screen. This phrase acts as your master emergency key, allowing you to regain access to your planner on a new device if you ever forget your password.
No Server-Side Overrides: Taylored Digital Labs does not keep a copy of your password or your 12-word recovery phrase. Please keep your phrase stored safely—if both your password and recovery phrase are lost, your encrypted planner cannot be recovered by our customer support team.

5. Family & Carer Sharing Mode

NDGrid allows you to coordinate schedules, delegate tasks, and share lists with family members or carers without compromising your privacy or exposing your schedule to the internet:

Secure Device-to-Device Sharing: When you assign a task or share a list with someone in your circle, the app securely locks that specific item so that only the recipient’s authorized device and personal password can open it.
Parental Safeguards: When a parent or guardian sets up a dependent child profile under a Family Plan, the app creates a secure emergency reset key linked exclusively to the parent’s account. This allows parents to help a child reset a forgotten password without ever exposing the family's schedule to Taylored Digital Labs.

6. Infrastructure Partners

While your core planner entries and health logs are completely encrypted and unreadable to us, we work with industry-leading background services to run the app reliably:

Google Firebase: Used solely to verify sign-ins (email/password authentication) and to host your encrypted, scrambled syncing files.
RevenueCat: Used to securely manage premium app subscriptions and app store receipts. This service only checks whether you have an active subscription and is completely detached from your personal planner data.

7. Data Deletion

Local Free-Tier Users: Because your data is stored exclusively on your phone or computer, you can permanently and completely erase all your NDGrid information simply by uninstalling the app from your device.
Cloud Sync Users: If you use a cloud account, you can request the permanent deletion of your account profile and all encrypted syncing backups at any time by contacting our support team.
